  2. Check the timezone displayed above the form, then create the Calendar link.
  3. Open Google Calendar, review the extracted details and save the event yourself.

What is Text2Calendar?

Text2Calendar turns a natural-language event description into a Google Calendar add-event link. It works on the website, through a Chrome extension, a Telegram bot and an HTTP API.

Can I create a calendar event from an email?

Yes. Copy the relevant invitation from Gmail, Outlook or another email client and paste it into the form. Include the date, start time, topic and meeting link. There is no need to connect your inbox.

Does it save events automatically?

The website generates a link. You review and save the event in Google Calendar. It does not save events in the background or require access to your calendar.

How are timezones handled?

The website uses your browser timezone and displays it above the form. Explicit timezone information in an invitation helps clarify the intended time. Always check the final time in Calendar, especially for travel and international meetings.

Which languages can I use?

The website interface is available in English, Russian, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. You can submit event descriptions in different languages. AI extraction can make mistakes, so review every result.

Does it work with Apple Calendar or Outlook Calendar?

The generated link opens Google Calendar. You can paste text copied from Outlook, but direct Outlook Calendar and Apple Calendar export are not currently supported.

Can I create several or repeating events?

Each request returns one primary event. Submit separate descriptions for separate events. To repeat an event, configure recurrence in Google Calendar after opening the link.

Is Text2Calendar free?

The public beta has free usage subject to quotas and rate limits. If a quota is reached, try again later. The Chrome extension is available from the Chrome Web Store.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Open the website in a mobile browser and paste or type your event. You can also send text or voice notes to the Telegram bot. The Chrome extension is for desktop Chrome.

How do I report a wrong date or request a feature?

Email support@therephrase.com with a redacted example and the expected date, time and timezone. Do not include private meeting credentials.
